A quick demo of my new SL sculpture called Second Thoughts. It's a morphing, animated sculpted prim that uses the Second Life video features to modify the shape of the Sculpty. It uses some custom scripts to update the shape of the sculpty very quickly, around 8 frames per second.
Take a tour of my favorite Oregon Skateparks - via Google Earth and the Wall of Gray archives. This first leg of the trip goes from Burnside to West Linn, Astoria, and Lincoln City.
Music by PorchCat, shagrugge, and David Byrne
Tasty slow-motion footage and an amazing mashup featuring Dolly Parton singing Stairway to Heaven. Footage includes highlites from the 2005 Concrete Rodeo in Reedsport, and locals hangin out in Waldport. Music by DJ Earworm
Video mix of the 2005 Donald Daze skateboarding contest in Donald, Oregon. Music by Sonic Bloom. The park is a replica of a classic cement pool - created by Dreamland Skateparks just for skating. Extreme terrain, and the locals are rippin it up!
My local park is an amazing concrete gem created by Airspeed Skateparks. You've never seen anything like it ~ 8,000 square feet of flowing lines and over-vertical love.
Another installment of the Oregon Skatepark Mega-Mix. Woohoo! This round features a smooth instrumental track from SonicBloom with stops in Eugene, Reedsport, Brookings, and Port Orford. Skate on!
I may have to rename my SL business to Vlad's WaterWorks :) I've been getting some wonderful feedback about my sculpted prim water and my animated waterfalls.
Here's a quick video of my most recent watery creation. You can find it in Port Caledon on ambiant Kukulcan's land, near his Capt. Nemo style underwater hideaway.
A space-time anomaly hits the skatepark. Backwards, forwards...Fast, slow. It's all the same now. Featuring two world-class skateparks in Newberg and Waldport Oregon. Music is a CC licensed track from the beastie Boys.
The tour continues! Newport, Toledo, Waldport, & Florence. Check out the construction shots of the Toledo Skatepark - transformed into living skate footage.
Not your standard collection of tricks - more like a meditation on the shapes and movements of skating. Visualized skate lines and armies of skater clones mixed to a live Coldcut mix from Solid Steel radio. In other words?Trippy.
The tour continues! Check out the fourth leg of our video tour of Oregon's concrete parks. This time we head down south to visit Grant's Pass, Medford, and Ashland. Mostly pictures in this one - I didn't have my video camera when Paul and I visited these spots. A fun mix with music by Zap Mama. Stay tuned for Part 5 in a few weeks!
This is a short machinima ad featuring my newest creation - a Sculpted Stream Construction Kit. If you can rez and position a prim you can create your own realistic stream in Second Life.
